Such a PURRFECT sweater😻 It is a gorgeous shade of dove grey with black and white speckles peppered through the yarn. Not too heavy/thick, about a medium weight knit but very cozy. It has a matching belt, but also looks very cute without! Purchased from a very reliable source, I was told that this is 1940s but I think the belt buckle was replaced at some point bc the plastic seems newer.
Chest 36” stretches to 38” max
Waist 24” stretches to 30” max
Width at hem 16.5” (measured flat, 33” doubled plus some stretch)
Length 26.5”
Sleeve length 22” (measured from top of shoulder to cuff)
Armscye 9” flat
Belt 36” long
Flaws: None that I could find. A tiny bit of felting under the arms but hardly noticeable (see 4th and 5th pics). There is no label, just a small white tag that says “40”. I find this to be a bit itchy but if you are not hypersensitive to wool like I am, you should be fine with a long sleeve shirt layered underneath!
