The best femme fatale 1940s/1950s dress that I’ve ever seen. Belongs in a film noir. Unfortunately she doesn’t fit my dress form so I don’t know that these photos are doing her justice! Label is Gay Gibson. Fabric content is rayon/cotton blend. Sexy unique seam details on jacket. Reminds me of something Madonna would have worn in the 1990s. Bow at back fastens with hook and eye. Nice interior tailoring details, grosgrain ribbon at waist, pinked seams, facing at neckline. Black is nice and dark, not faded. No underarm staining on jacket or dress. Only flaw that I see is some red/pink staining on the white stain lining of the jacket (see picture). The cut is so flattering to the figure. Kickpleat at back of skirt makes it easy to walk in. Truly stunning, classic and rare ensemble. Will never go out of style. Chest 34” Waist 26” Hips 34” Length 41.5”
